Jan 26, 2010 - Awesome video. It's a crazy wallcloud formation. The lower cloud definetly goes up in an updraft. I videoed something similar to this in Erick Oklahoma except it just didn't have the scud cloud at the bottom which rises up into the clouds above. But the wall cloud has a lot of likeness with that brown color the way this video has. It also has the look of a tornado, but it's not a tornado. This video reminds me of the crazy wall cloud I filmed in Erick Oklahoma.

Apr 27, 2010 - Many Austin area storm chasers where following this cell. You can go see my June 11th footage as I followed the cell from it's genesis. Tony Cook is a nationally know and very experienced storm chaser. He was very near the cell as it produced the wall cloud/scud cloud you have in your video. He was pretty convinced there was no rotation in it and radar also showed little or no rotation. Good job on capturing the storm. VERY nice video.

Tony Cook (a very well known national storm chaser) was on the cell as you are filming this. Although it is a wonderful looking wall/scud cloud, Tony did not see any rotation and radar didn't indicate any. You have GREAT footage of a killer looking storm! But I am not so sure it was a tornado.

Jun 23, 2010 - wow, that's like 5 minutes from my house. I live over by Parmer and Lakeline. Not quite a tornado, but you can definitely see the spiral rotation from that small cloud being pulled up, and the dropping rotation from the tunderhead. I would remember this storm better if every spring weren't like this =P. Great footage!!
